Diarrheal issues are one of the most common symptoms of the gastrointestinal tract which results in frequent and watery stools. This problem may also be generated from medication, dietary changes, or other pre-existing digestive disorders.

What Causes Diarrheal Issues?

  • Bacterial, viral, or parasitic infections of the gastrointestinal tract 
  • Consuming contaminated food or water, food intolerances, or dietary changes
  • Certain medications, including antibiotics or laxatives
  • Conditions such as irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), or celiac disease
  • Emotional stress or anxiety can sometimes contribute to episodes of diarrhea.
