What Is Piles Banding?

Piles banding, also known as rubber band ligation, is a laparoscopic procedure for treating internal hemorrhoids. It involves placing a small rubber band around the base of the hemorrhoid to cut off its blood supply, leading to shrinkage and eventual resolution of symptoms.

Why is Piles Banding Performed?
